WetFeet is a job search site offering numerous tools, search features and related options. Students can use this site to search for suitable internships. Read on to find out how to get the most out of the site.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to the WetFeet Web site.

  2. Step 2

The homepage features a "Search for Jobs" section to the right. Enter internships in the "Keyword" field.

  3. Step 3

To make the search specific to a location, enter the name of the desired city in the "City" field and select the appropriate state from the "State" drop-down list. Leave this field blank if you are open to working anywhere in the United States.

  4. Step 4

View the latest jobs by selecting a suitable option from the "Freshness" drop-down list. By default, the "Last 30 Days" option is selected so jobs posted in the last 30 days are displayed on the results page.

  5. Step 5

Click "Search" to view opportunities matching the search criteria. The results page lists all relevant internships in and around the specified city and state. Explore the desired jobs for details.

  6. Step 6

Narrow down your search with a list of filters to the left of the results page. Candidates can use these filters to view internships based on category, company, city, state and remuneration. By default, the categories list is expanded. Click the desired job category to view all related internships. Otherwise, select another filter to list internships corresponding to a particular organization, city, state or pay. In addition to filters, WetFeet supports the "Exclude" section to allow job seekers to exclude certain keywords, job titles and company names when performing a search.

  7. Step 7

Alternatively, use the "Internship Programs" link from the navigational menu given at the bottom of the WetFeet homepage. Clicking this link takes you to the IntershipPrograms Web site--a WetFeet search engine for internships. Become a member of this site to explore the internship programs posted here. The site also shows Google ads promoting internships in other countries.
