People write for many different purposes. Some write for enjoyment and self-fulfillment while others write as a means of making money. If you are writing to make money, and want to submit an article to advertise your products or services on the Web, follow the steps below.

Write an article about your product.
Step2
Offer information in the article that is unique and up-to-date.
Step3
Prepare a resource box.
Step4
Place Internet links to either your sales media or your Web sites inside of the article.
Step5
Submit the article to ezines and article directories.
Step6
Submit the article to an article submission service.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can access lists of article directories and ezines by typing "article directory" or "ezine" into a search engine. Read the terms of service for the article directories and ezines before submitting articles.
  • Make sure your article contains at least five percent keyword density.
  • Proofread your article for grammar and spelling mistakes.
  • Some directories will reject your work for having links in the body, but make sure to continue to submit to all of them.
  • Never plagiarize or copy others' works.
