Come to the city where history abounds. Moab, Utah is famous for archaeological sites that still feature prehistoric stone structures and rock formations for everybody to enjoy. There are plenty of modern-day attractions in and around Moab, known internationally for mountain biking and hiking.

  1. Step 1

    Prepare yourself for a fluctuating climate. Winters in the lower elevations are typically mild, while the higher elevations provide perfect conditions for skiing.

  3. Step 3

    See the land that nature built. The Canyon Country Region was formed by natural forces, including water, ice and wind.

    Fly into the Moab Airport in Utah, and catch one of the three van shuttle services that will take you from the airport to downtown Moab.

    Book one of the two scenic and charter services offered in Moab, and they will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the front door of your accommodations.

    Rent your own transportation. Vehicle rentals include automobiles, 4-wheel drives, dirt bikes, motorcycles and recreational vehicles.

    Enjoy camping in the desert region. Accommodations for camping can usually be reserved and will generally include showers, running water, RV hook-ups and flushable toilets.
