Lahaina is a town on the western coastline of Maui facing the island of Lanai across the Auau Channel. A historic town, more than 80 percent of Maui's visitors spend time in Lahaina.
Bring your cameras. Tourists flock to Lahaina in the winter to watch the humpback whales in the Auau Channel. This is Lahaina's—and Maui's—busiest time of the year.
