It is that time again when thousands of people head to the airports to fly home for the holidays. You don't want this travel to cause anxiety and in this day and time packing for a trip can do just that. The biggest question this day is what you can and cannot bring on the aircraft.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • You will need your suitcase, clear plastic bag, and your carry on luggage.
  1. Step 1

The first step is to go to http://www.tsa.gov/ and read the list of the items that you can bring in your carry on.

  2. Step 2

Make sure that you pack your carry on liquids, no bigger then 3 ounces in a clear plastic bag. This step is to insure that it is easier for the TSA Agents to inspect the liquids being brought onto the aircraft. One important part of this step is the clear plastic bag can be no bigger then 1 quart size, this insures the amount of liquids that you can carry on.

Tips & Warnings
  • They also ask you not to wrap your presents when traveling, you don't want to take the time to make the present look nice and pretty and have it ruined in inspection.
  • Remember to bring you film with you as carry on, you don't want all of your family photos destroyed going through the screening machines.
  • Always show up to the airport early, as the lines are long to get through security.
  • Be patient. Remember the TSA Agents are just doing their jobs, to insure that you get to your families safely and without incident.
  • I suggest that you definitely follow step 1, as the TSA is changing things everyday and they keep their website update with the changes made. You don't want to get to the airport and have to repack.
