When connecting one Wikipedia article to another, you can hide the namespace, or context, of the article you're linking. Follow these steps to open an account and hide the namespace in the hyperlink you create.

Open an account in Wikipedia

Step1
Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. You can also key in "Wikipedia" in search engines like Google or Yahoo.
Step2
Go to the top right corner of the page. Click on "Sign in/create account." Register yourself by providing a Username and Password. Once you've been added, your Username will appear in red on the top of the page.

Hide a namespace when linking to a wikipedia article

Step1
Enter the name of the article you want to edit in the search box on the left-hand side. Click on "go" or press "enter."
Step2
Click on "edit this page" or "edit" for each section.
Step3
Between two square brackets on each side, key in the name of the article you want to create a link to. Your hyperlink should have the same format as the following example: [[restaurants: pizza]]. The namesake here is "restaurant."
Step4
To hide the namesake, include a "pipe" sign (|) before the last pair of brackets: [[restaurants: pizza|]].
Step5
See the link by clicking on "show preview" and save.
