You can center the text in a Wikipedia article with some preparation. This online encyclopedia allows you to make appropriate changes in existing articles. You need to open an account in Wikipedia for making changes in any article. Here’s how you can center text in a Wikipedia article.

Open an Account in Wikipedia

Step1
Enter the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page in your internet browser to get to the Main Page of Wikipedia. You can also key in 'Wikipedia' in search engines Google or Yahoo.
Step2
Go to the top right corner of the page. Click on ‘Create account’ and register by providing your username and a unique password. The account gets created immediately and the username you selected will display on top of the page.

Steps to Center Text in a Wikipedia Article

Step1
Enter the address www.wikipedia.org in your internet browser to go to the Main Page of Wikipedia.
Step2
Click on the Sign in/Create Account box at the upper-right corner of the page and sign in using your username and password.
Step3
Go to an article and use the ‘Edit’ tab/box to center a text in an article.
Step4
Use the following syntax to center text in an article. Use the syntax
and then write the text that needs to be placed in the middle of an article.
Step5
End the text by using the syntax . For example, use
Wikipedia
will display the word ‘Wikipedia’ in the center of the article.
Step6
See the changes by clicking on ‘Preview the page.’
Step7
Save the changes by clicking on ‘Save the page.’
