We tend to be habituated by our choices, and food is not an exception. However, there are a few of us who like to try new restaurants, new cuisines and new dishes. If you are moving to a new neighborhood, visiting a new city or are bored of the same restaurant, you are probably looking to find other restaurants that serve your favorite dish. Here’s how you can find out what restaurant serves your favorite dish.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Identify the key ingredients and possibly the cuisine of your favorite dish. For example, Spaghetti Bolognese is a popular Italian dish made of pasta and tomato-meat sauce. Learning more about your favorite dish will help you narrow down your searches.

  2. Step 2

Extending the example of Spaghetti Bolognese, search for Italian restaurants in your neighborhood.

  3. Step 3

Look up the yellow pages, ask your friends or colleagues or perform an online search for Italian restaurants in your area.

  4. Step 4

Make a list of Italian restaurants and note their phone numbers.

  5. Step 5

Search the Web site of the restaurants and see if they have an online menu. Read the menu and see if your favorite dish is on the menu.

  6. Step 6

Call the restaurant and ask if they serve your favorite dish.

Tips & Warnings
  • Ask your friends, family and colleagues for recommendations, especially if you are not familiar with the city or town.
