How to Change the SpellCheck Settings on the Google Toolbar

Installing the latest version of the Google Toolbar on your Internet Explorer or Firefox Internet browser gives you access to SpellCheck, a spell-checker that is built into the toolbar. This feature will check and correct your spelling in discussion forums, Web-based email programs, Web forms and Intranet applications, and can do it in a dozen different languages. Changing the language you want to use can be done in just a few seconds, and you can also edit your SpellCheck dictionary very easily.

Things You'll Need

  • Web Browser: Internet Explorer version 6.0 or Firefox version 2.0
  • An Internet connection
  • The Google Toolbar
  • Operating System: Windows 2000 (with Service Pack 3), or Windows XP
