How to Submit My Articles to ArticleMarketer.com

There are hundreds of article submission services and article directories online. Some are good, some are bad and some are just plain so-so, fair to middlin' or middle-of-the-road. ArticleMarketer.com is one of the many article distribution services online. It's uniqueness is characterized by its list of other article directories to which it distributes its articles. This makes it more than just an article directory--it's actually an online article distribution web site. They have paid services, but they also have a free service that allows you to use a limited version of their distribution network.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

1. The first thing you'll need to do is set up an account. Go to the articlemarketer Web site and click on "Create Account" on the top left of the screen.
2. Click on "Create One Now."
3. Fill out the author application form and select a level of service. If you want unlimited service, which allows you to distribute your articles to the widest circulation Article Marketer offers for your entire lifetime, you'll have to pay $299.95. They also offer an annual payment service and a quarterly service. If you want to try the free service, select "Limited Exposure."
4. Read the article submission guidelines. The link is right below the service selection choices.
5. Next, input your article information, which includes title, description of the article and the article itself.
6. Type in your author biography, also called About the Author Resource Box.
7. Select the article categories into which you want your article to be placed. You have up to three selections.
8. Type in your keywords related to that article and the date you want your article distributed. If you want it distributed right away, leave those spaces blank.
9. Check the "I Accept" user agreement boxes.
10. Hit "Next."
11. If you chose a level of service that requires payment, go through the payment process following the prompts.

Tips & Warnings

• Put all self-serving links into your author biography. Do not put them in the article itself.
• Article Marketer uses two author biography boxes because some publishers want HTML in them and some do not. If you have an URL or want to promote a web site, you can still put the Web address or URL into the non-HTML box. Just don't include any code.
• Write your article before you submit, but don't use Microsoft Word. Article Marketer will not accept the proprietary code that Microsoft uses in its word processing program. Write the article in Notepad and copy/paste from that program. If you write the article in MS Word and copy/paste into Notepad, then into Article Marketer, you will find yourself having to rewrite the article or going through and deleting all the spaces, periods, commas, and other punctuation and replacing them. It's tedious work. Write in Notepad.
