  1. Step 1

First you must login to www.myspace.com. If you already have a MySpace account, then skip to step 7.

  2. Step 2

To create an account, first, click on “Sign Up!”, the button to the right of the page inside the “member login” box. You are now on the “MySpace, create an account page”.

  3. Step 3

Now you must fill out the appropriate information. In the box on the left of the page where it says “JOIN MYSPACE HERE!”. Enter your email address, first and last name, password, country, postal code, gender, date of birth, and preferred site and language. Your password must contain at least one number and may not be similar to your first or last name.

  4. Step 4

Then, you MUST check the box that says “By checking the box you agree to the MySpace ‘Terms of Service’ and ‘Privacy Policy’”. BEFORE you check this box, click on these two links and read the ‘Terms of Service’ and ‘Privacy Policy’. You want to know what you are getting yourself into before you sign up for any internet service. Then, you must enter the text from the image in the box on the bottom of the page. This is a security measure in place to prevent computers from spamming the site and creating multiple logins. Then click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the page. Now the page says “Upload Some Photos!”

  5. Step 5

You can either upload a picture onto MySpace, or click “Skip for now” underneath the “upload photo” box. For further instructions on uploading a photo onto your MySpace page, see “How to upload a photo onto MySpace”. Now the page says “Invite Friends to Your Space!”

  6. Step 6

Now you have the option of entering your friends email addresses in the “To” box and a short message to them telling them to join MySpace in the “Optional Body” box. You may also skip this step by clicking “Skip for now” on the bottom right corner of the “Invite Your Friends!” box. Now you are at your MySpace homepage.

  7. Step 7

If you did not need to set up an account, then enter your email address and password under “member login”, then click “Login”. You are now at your MySpace homepage.

  8. Step 8

At your MySpace homepage, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Look for the box labeled “My Bulletin Space”. At the bottom of the box, click on “View All Bulletin Entries”. You are now at the “Bulletin Board” page.

  9. Step 9

Near the top of the page, above the list of bulletins already posted, you should see something that says “Post Bulletin”. Left click on this link. You are now on the “Post Bulletin Page”

  10. Step 10

Now you will enter information about your article. In the “Subject” line, you want to enter information about your article that will entice other people [your friends] to read it. 13. Step 13

Now you need to paste the URL of your article. Return to the “Post Bulletin Page”. You will need to paste the link to your article in the “Body” of your bulletin. In the “Body” section of the “Post Bulletin Page” Right click and drag the mouse down to “paste”. In the “Body” of your bulletin, you also have the option of adding more information about your article.

Now you need to Post the URL. At the bottom of the “Post Bulletin Page” click on “Post”. You are now on the “Confirm Bulletin” page.

  15. Step 15

Now you need to confirm the details. Did everything go smoothly? Click on the link to check and make sure the link is correct. If everything went smoothly, then click on “Post Bulletin” at the bottom of the page. Now you are on the “Bulletin Has Been Posted” page.

  16. Step 16

Now you must wait 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, return to your homepage by clicking “home” on the left side of the toolbar near the top of the page.

  17. Step 17

Once you return to your homepage, scroll to the bottom and check that your bulletin has been posted.
