  1. Step 1

    Know the most relevant keywords and key phrases based on what your target customers look for on search engines.

  2. Step 2

    Use your keyword in both the title and the body of the advertisement.

  3. Step 3

    Describe your product or service as specifically as possible.

  4. Step 4

    Use proven copywriting techniques in your ad. Make sure your ad answers a question or solves a problem your target has.

  5. Step 5

    Design your ad for highly targeted traffic. Eliminate those who are not ready to commit to a purchase.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be as specific as you can with as few words as possible. PPC ads are usually only a few lines.
  • Let the person seeing your ad know exactly what your site offers them.
  • PPC advertising is highly competitive; know how much you can spend on each keyword.
  • Focus on your landing page; make sure your copy backs up your ad and further entices the reader to buy your product.
