If you are the type who wishes to get only the latest information, use Google’s Advanced Features section to restrict your Google search results to the web pages that were updated in the last 6 months. Here is how to do it.

Step1
Go online and visit the Google home page (see resources).
Step2
Click on the "Advanced Features" link beside the search box.
Step3
Select the "past 6 months" option in the "Date" section.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also use this feature to search for web pages that were updated in the last 3 months and 1 year.
