With Google's "Advanced Search," you can look for information within a specific numeric range. This can be handy for looking for things to buy within a budget or for finding information within a particular time range. With the following steps, you can find pages in Google that contain numbers within a specified range.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Go online and visit the Google home page (see resources).
Step2
Enter the first and the last number of the range along with the measurement unit you want to search for, separated by two periods.
Step3
For example, to get information on baseball pertaining to the years between 1990 and 2000, the search key would be "baseball 1990..2000." Or, to get information on extra long curtain panels, the search key would be "curtain panels 86..102 inch."

on 4/5/2007 A better title for this article would be "How to Find Pages in Google that Contain Numbers in a Certain Range". A page wouldn't have to have the whole range to be returned.
