Upload an Image to an eHow Profile

Instructions

Step 1

Save an image to a file on your computer-–or the desktop. Some place where you can easily find it again.
Step 2

Once you have saved the image, log into eHow. Go to your eHow profile and click on "MY PROFILE." Once this is done, find the tab labeled "MY SETTINGS" and click it.
Step 3

Find the "CHANGE MY AVATAR" link in the small menu near the top of the next screen. Click it to be taken to the image upload area. On this page, you'll have the ability to upload your own image or choose from eHow's stock images.
Step 4

To select your own image, click on "UPLOAD AN AVATAR," which is placed on the left side of the screen. Doing this will enable you to surf through the files on your computer so you can find your saved picture.
Step 5

When you find the image, click it. The image will then be loaded into an editing tool that allows you to crop or re-center the image to your liking.
Step 6

After you download your picture to your profile and edit it properly, click on "MAKE THIS MY AVATAR" and watch as the image is automatically attached to your profile.
