There are many ways to research your weHow article before you write it. You will want to gather information on your topic from relevant sources.

  1. Step 1

    eHow (www.ehow.com) and Answerbag (www.answerbag.com) are great resources for researching just about anything you’d want to know.

  2. Step 2

    Gather any hard copy information you have on your topic, books you may own, magazines, owner’s manuals or the actual product if applicable.

  3. Step 3

    Search for reliable sources online. Look for authority sites like the manufacturer’s website. Many manufacturers offer QA or tech sections that can be very valuable. Industry “review” sites or articles from reputable online magazines or newspapers.

  4. Step 4

    Get the publics perception of the product by viewing comments on blogs. There are several blog search tools. Google offers one of the best at http://blogsearch.google.com/ . Search for your product or topic on popular search engines like Yahoo! And Google to see what others are saying about it.

  5. Step 5

    If in doubt, go back to eHow and/or Answerbag to make sure you didn’t miss anything.

    4.6. Gather all the information you can and then start to write your article, remember to look for quality images that match your article during your online searching. Be sure images are not copyrighted in anyway.
