How to Perform Length Conversions in Google

Google has an in-built calculator that incorporates various conversion features. One such feature is length conversion. The in-built calculator allows you to perform varied length conversions, whether they are for a sewing project or a construction project.

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Google search homepage.

  2. Step 2

    Enter the number in the original unit of length followed by the keyword "in" and the unit to which you want to convert. For example, "400 meters in feet." Click on the search button or hit return.

  3. Step 3

    Get a general conversion rate by typing in the units of measure. For instance, "meters in feet" will show how many feet equal 1 meter.
