Google’s Advanced Search feature lets you use the OR operator to contain search results on either of the two search keywords. In other words, you can get results for either of the keywords you enter using this operator.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Computer

Step1
Go to the Google search homepage.
Step2
Enter the two keyword-alternatives. For example, if you want information on either tennis or soccer, your search keywords would read "tennis OR soccer."
Step3
Click on the Google search button or hit return. Google will return a listing of all results.

Tips & Warnings

  • Ensure that there is a single space only before and after the OR operator
