OpenTable is an online reservation network for restaurants in major US, UK, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore cities. It operates in real time and suggests available times for booking a table with more than 5,800 restaurants. Making a dining reservation using this service is quite straightforward and simple.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step11
Note down the confirmation number.
Step12
Invite your guest by filling out the online invite displayed on the right side of this page.
Step13
Modify or cancel your reservation by clicking on the links on this page. You will also receive an email confirming your reservation, and you may modify or cancel your reservation by following the link mentioned in that email.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your first choice of reservation time is not available, look for other available times. There may be an additional bonus time offered. Choosing it gives you dining reward points offered by OpenTable. Accumulate these points and redeem them for dining checks which are valid at all OpenTable member restaurants.
  • Some of the restaurants require patrons to confirm their reservation via phone. This is done to provide a level of security for the restaurant and helps to prevent people from making reservations and then not showing up. Find out whether you are required to call the restaurant or not so that you can avoid getting a rude shock later.
