How to See Invisible Mode on Yahoo! Messenger

Yahoo! Instant Messenger users are able to select different images for their availability online. One option is the invisible status, where a user may be online, but Yahoo! Instant Messenger will show the user as offline. Follow these steps to see whether a buddy is online or just invisible.

Yahoo! Instant Messenger
Internet connection
Computer

Step1

Download Buddy Spy software through Yahoo!, which will allow you to view users when they are invisible.

Step2

Open Yahoo! Instant Messenger.

Step3

Click on your main buddy list.

Step4

View the user names. When the buddy is offline the name will be gray. When the buddy is invisible, it will read invisible next to their name.

Step5

Send a message to that user in the message window.

Tips & Warnings

Be sure you are downloading Buddy Spy software from Yahoo! so you are sure the software is safe and secure.
There is also software to determine if they in a chat room or on Web-cam.

I`ve noticed the following: if you have in your sent box an email to the friend you suspect to be invisible, open it and look where the friend`s address is written (to: blabla@yahoo.com). If the email was sent to the same address your friend uses for messenger, you should see, in front of the address name, the little smilly. If the smilly is yellow, the friend is online, although he appears offline on your messenger list. He/she might be ignoring you... :). If the smilly is gray, they`re really offline.
I`m not sure it`s really working, but check it out! Let me know if it`s true!

on 11/1/2007 hi , i downloaded the buddy spy but i think i downloaded the one with the chat room n web cam also n also the invisible thing does not show if they r, can u tell me the site if u can so i can downloaded n if also if i m using the right one then can u plz tell me wt i m doing wrong as i can't c if anyone is invisible.Thanks
