Knock Someone Out in One Punch

Sometimes you have to defend yourself, whether you like it or not. Here's the inside track on making someone think twice about giving you the business.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Your fist
  • An enemy assailant
  1. Step 1

Focus all of your energy at the directed target or targets.

  2. Step 2

Maintain proper balance with much emphasis on positioning relative to the target or targets.

  3. Step 3

Squeeze your hand rock solid until your knuckles begin to bulge through layers of skin.

  4. Step 4

Find your inner strength and focus on maximum destruction of target or targets.

  5. Step 5

Visualize one punch doing all the work needed to finish the job at the right time.

  6. Step 6

Release all energy into an explosion of power, timing and
positioning into the target or target's face.

  7. Step 7

    Voila! One punch.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have a legitimate reason for throwing a punch at someone.

on 11/19/2008 This was obviously written by someone that has never knocked anyone out, and most likely never punched another human being. All the "finding your inner strength" and "visualization" in the world won't knock someone out with a single punch if you don't know how to throw a punch with proper body mechanics.

Hitting someone directly on the point of their chin or right behind the ear will improve your odds of knocking them out. But these so called "sweet spots" don't work on everyone, hence the reason why some fighters are said to have "glass jaws" while others have "iron jaws".

Also be aware that hitting someone in their skull with a bare fist is more likely to break your hand than it is to deliver a one punch knock out. (Don't believe everything you see in the movies)
