Instructions

    • 1

Mark the top edge of the cabinet while holding the medicine cabinet in the desired location. You're just making a guide mark at this point.

    • 2

Remove the cabinet from the wall and use a level to "square up" the guide mark you made in Step 1. Make sure the leveled mark is at least as wide as the medicine cabinet.

    • 3

Place the cabinet back on the wall, its top flush with the leveled mark you made in Step 2, and mark the location of pre-drilled holes.

    • 4

Remove the cabinet from the wall and drill holes in the wall for drywall anchors.

    • 5

      Insert the drywall anchors.

    • 6

Place the cabinet on the wall one last time and fit the screws through the pre-drilled holes. Tighten screws almost completely.

    • 7

Check that the cabinet is level with your marks, and adjust as necessary.

    • 8

      Finish tightening screws.

Tips & Warnings

  • Dry fit your cabinet several times before installation. Hold the cabinet up to the wall and make sure that you're happy with its placement.

  • Use a stud finder. If you can attach to a stud, do so.

  • Get a friend to help you hold up the medicine cabinet if necessary.

  • Always wear safety glasses when using power tools.
