Things You'll Need:
- Screws
- Medicine cabinet
- Drywall anchors
- Drill
- Pencil
-
Step 1
Mark the top edge of the cabinet while holding the medicine cabinet in the desired location. You’re just making a guide mark at this point.
-
Step 2
Remove the cabinet from the wall and use a level to “square up” the guide mark you made in Step 1. Make sure the leveled mark is at least as wide as the medicine cabinet.
-
Step 3
Place the cabinet back on the wall, its top flush with the leveled mark you made in Step 2, and mark the location of pre-drilled holes.
-
Step 4
Remove the cabinet from the wall and drill holes in the wall for drywall anchors.
-
Step 5
Insert the drywall anchors.
-
Step 6
Place the cabinet on the wall one last time and fit the screws through the pre-drilled holes. Tighten screws almost completely.
-
Step 7
Check that the cabinet is level with your marks, and adjust as necessary.
-
Step 8
Finish tightening screws.
