How to Install a Medicine Cabinet
You can upgrade the appearance of your bathroom in about an hour by installing a new medicine cabinet. Flush-mount cabinets are a snap to install with a little prep time and a few basic tools. Here are some steps for installing a medicine cabinet in your bathroom. Does this Spark an idea?

Mark the top edge of the cabinet while holding the medicine cabinet in the desired location. You're just making a guide mark at this point.

Remove the cabinet from the wall and use a level to "square up" the guide mark you made in Step 1. Make sure the leveled mark is at least as wide as the medicine cabinet.

Place the cabinet back on the wall, its top flush with the leveled mark you made in Step 2, and mark the location of pre-drilled holes.

Remove the cabinet from the wall and drill holes in the wall for drywall anchors.

Insert the drywall anchors.

Place the cabinet on the wall one last time and fit the screws through the pre-drilled holes. Tighten screws almost completely.

Check that the cabinet is level with your marks, and adjust as necessary.

Finish tightening screws.

Tips & Warnings
Dry fit your cabinet several times before installation. Hold the cabinet up to the wall and make sure that you're happy with its placement.
Use a stud finder. If you can attach to a stud, do so.
Get a friend to help you hold up the medicine cabinet if necessary.
