Things You'll Need

  • 3 big tomatoes
  • 1 white or red onion
  • 1 Bell pepper, yellow or green
  • 2 or 3 Serrano chili peppers
  • 1/4 cup Orange juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Tbsp. Oregano
  • Tsp. Garlic
  • Tsp. Sugar

Instructions

    • 1

      Dice the tomatoes, bell pepper, onion and serrano chilis.

    • 2

      Throw all ingredients in large bowl.

    • 3

      Stir vigorously.

    • 4

      Cover bowl and let sit in refrigerator for half an hour.

    • 5

      Serve cold with chips or tortillas.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sautee peppers if desired.

  • Consider adding corn, black beans or other vegetables.

  • Adjust amount of each ingredient according to taste.

  • Be careful not to use too much orange juice, or salsa becomes too sweet and watery.
