How to Make Salsa Barajas
This salsa is perfect for Super Bowl parties. And it's hot, too. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 3 big tomatoes
- 1 white or red onion
- 1 Bell pepper, yellow or green
- 2 or 3 Serrano chili peppers
- 1/4 cup Orange juice
- Salt and pepper
- Tbsp. Oregano
- Tsp. Garlic
- Tsp. Sugar

Dice the tomatoes, bell pepper, onion and serrano chilis.

Throw all ingredients in large bowl.

Stir vigorously.

Cover bowl and let sit in refrigerator for half an hour.

Serve cold with chips or tortillas.

Tips & Warnings
Sautee peppers if desired.
Consider adding corn, black beans or other vegetables.
Adjust amount of each ingredient according to taste.
Be careful not to use too much orange juice, or salsa becomes too sweet and watery.
