Getting bored with the same ol' mainstream music you hear on the radio? Here goes a way to look deeper and finding some cool new music!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Your CD's
  • Time and patience

Step1
Gather all your favorite CD Albums.
Step2
Have a seat and start looking at two things on each of your albums A) the record label and B) the producer. These are two ways to getting closer to finding new music. See which record label each of your favorite bands are under. More than likely that record label will have other bands you might be interested in. Go to the record label's website and see what other bands they have available for you.
Step3
Check to see who produced the albums which you dig so much. Knowing which producer was behind those albums and having access to the little known thing as the internet can give a discography lesson of what other albums he/she helped produce. This method can potentially score you with more new music.
