We all know that water plays a vital part in our health. Technology has taken it a step further and possibly improved our drinking water with oxygenation. The jury is still out on whether oxygenated water is truly beneficial, or just hocus pocus. In the meantime here are the steps to making oxygenated water.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • oxygenated water system
  • purified water
  1. Step 1

Research online and consumer magazines for machines that oxygenate water. Compare prices and brands. There are many different kinds, from reasonable prices to very expensive. Check the company's reputation and service options.

  2. Step 2

Buy a machine that will best suit your needs and budget.

  3. Step 3

Machines vary greatly from company to company. Follow the installation directions provided to you by the manufacturer.

  4. Step 4

Connect the filtration system to the tap line. Secure it to the underside of your sink using the enclosed hardware, or simply place it on the floor under your sink.

  5. Step 5

Turn on the machine and wait forty-five minutes to one hour for the water to be oxygenated and ready to drink.

  6. Step 6

Fill a glass and take a drink!

Tips & Warnings
  • Companies claim that adding oxygenated water to your body will speed up your metabolism, strengthen your immune system, give you a boost in energy, make your skin look younger and healthier and make you more alert.
  • There is no concrete scientific proof to these claims. Research companies and claims diligently before purchasing any system.

on 6/19/2009 I forgot to post this in my post. I have been using this 35% food grade h2o2 therapy for a little over one month. I did not know what to expect from it except to get more oxygen into my body. Well to make it short my rheumatoid arthritis in my left hip does not bother me at all and I am now off from my high blood pressure medication. Woo! Hoo! I was not expecting this at all. I am a happy camper and I can now walk with my grand kids.

on 6/19/2009 the easiest way to put o2 into your water is to just put 3 drops of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide into each cup (8oz) of chlorine free water. If your use city water that is full of chlorine just put the water in a container and let it sit open for about 24 hours. The chlorine will evaporate. Or go to your pet store and buy some Chlorine remover that is used for a fish tank. If you drink pure or distilled bottle water, STOP! It has a very low PH and no minerals. Our body need these to stay healthy. It is OK to drink this pure water for a shot period of time (2 to 3 weeks) to detoxify your body. Stay away from soft drinks, it is made with purified water.
Just do a search of the benefits of h2o2 therapy.

on 12/12/2008 In order to oxygenate water you need a blender or magic bullet. In this case I'm using a magic bullet. Fill the cup that comes with the magic bullet about 3/4 full of filtered, purified, or distilled water; add just a pinch of baking soda to your water (very small pinch), then attach the bullet, power on. Drink immediately or keep in an air tight container.

on 5/27/2008 That's stupid. I thought you were going to tell us how to oxygenate water ourselves, not to buy a machine. Duh!
