Considered one of the hardest weapons to attain, Shingen's finest war fan is well worth the challenge. You will need all the tricks in your bag for this one, so pull up a comfy chair and let's get started.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions

    Preparation

  1. Step 1

Get the Matsukaze Saddle. This is essential for this battle since it involves running around like crazy, and anyone who has played Shingen knows speed is not his strong suit.

  2. Step 2

Reset his stats. Even with a fully powered Shingen, attack power is not his forte. This mission will require swift elimination of the opposition.

  3. Step 3

Get a good Solar Gem with at least +30.

  4. Step 4

    Save often.

  5. Step 5

Equip Shingen with the Matsukaze Saddle, your Solar Gem, Vixen Tail, Power Bracer and Himiko's Rune.

  6. Step 6

Take a deep breath and get psyched.

  7. The Battle

  8. Step 1

Load up Shingen's Kawanakajima Showdown on Hard difficulty. Don't bother setting it to chaos, this one is tough enough.

  9. Step 2

Rush straight to Zenkouji. Defeat Kanetsugu Naoe and the Reserve Captain as soon as you can move.

  10. Step 3

Rush to Mt. Chasau and defeat Masamune Date.

  11. Step 4

Head to Kaizu Castle immediately after Masamune is defeated and eliminate Hanzo Hattori.

  12. Step 5

Hurry back to Hachimanbara and defeat Keiji Maeda.

  13. Step 6

Defeat Kanetsugu Amakasu and Yoshikyo Murakami.

  14. Step 7

Ride southwest towards Mt. Saijyo and defeat Tomonobu Saito. This opens the western gate.

  15. Step 8

Head into Kenshin's main camp and watch the movie. This should trigger the supply unit near the bridge in the southwest corner.

  16. Step 9

Rush to the supply unit and defeat the Supply Captain for the weapon.

  17. Step 10

Defeat Kenshin to finish the stage.
