Celebrate Your Loved Ones
Celebrate Your Loved Ones

My father passed the year my daughter was born; the perfect example of the "circle of life." It wasn’t a time to mourn but to celebrate! Check out my tips below if you ever feel overwhelmed.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Have a party to celebrate the elders of your family. Record the event to create a keepsake for family members.

  2. Step 2

Whenever you miss loved ones, think of the happy times you shared.

  3. Step 3

Create a family tree with pictures, birth dates and children. This is a fantastic project and should include extended family members too.

  4. Step 4

Share your parents’ stories, recipes, awards, clothes or any items involving your family. Keep the history alive!

  5. Step 5

My father was always the center of attention at any family function...and now my kids are just like him.

on 3/14/2009 I recently was invited to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday by submitting my messages via a website, www.celebrationjar.com. What a great idea. This allows you to tell your loved ones how you feel before it is too late. Great gift idea for sure!
