on 12/6/2008 I have a beautiful heavy duty carpet that I covered with a thin rug runner. I lifted it today to shampoo and I cannot get it to the clean appearence such as the rest of the carpet throughout the living area. The hallway is a heavy traffic area so I want to protect it but now I am wondering if it is worse to have this rug over it, Please help with any suggestions.
Thank you,
Cathy
