How to Obtain Okuni's 5th Weapon in Samurai Warriors

This is one of the more difficult weapons to attain since it hinges not only on eliminating the enemy but also on keeping a certain big lug (Goemon Ishikawa) from dying, despite his horribly reckless behavior.

Instructions

Preparation

1. Obtain the Matsukaze Saddle. You will NEED it for this one.

2. Recruit a friend. Obtaining weapons is always easier with a second player.

3. Reset if you have to. Reducing the average level of the players reduces the level of the enemies.

4. Make sure you have completed Okuni’s story mode first.

The Battle

5. Start the Dance of Ise on "Hard" difficulty.

6. Begin your advance, staying close to Goemon. This is VERY important! If you get too far away from Goemon, you will get one warning, then fail. Ignore all enemies (just like he does) or he will get too far ahead.

7. Defeat Ranmaru Mori when he crosses your path.

8. Continue advancing east until Goemon heads south. At a base in the middle, you will encounter Mitsuhide Akechi. Defeat him.

9. Continue south until you hit the southern fort. As Goemon heads east, rush ahead of him and defeat Hanzo Hattori as quickly as possible.

10. Head back to the central base after you defeat Hanzo.

11. Defeat the Supply Team that will appear outside the fort’s west entrance. Be careful! They are fast and head straight for the nearest gate! You only get one crack at them! The Supply Captain will drop the weapon.

12. Rush back to Goemon, who is probably getting bogged down by fatigue at this point. Rescue his sorry butt, then IGNORE the mission you get to defeat any remaining enemy officers. Leaving Goemon at this point will put the final nail in his coffin, and you will lose.

13. Run into the northeastern gate with Goemon and enjoy your new weapon!
