Instructions

    • 1

Figure out where in the room you want your subwoofer. It is best to place it beneath the television or screen and as close to it as possible.

    • 2

Plug the subwoofer into the back of your receiver. All you have to do to connect your subwoofer to your home theatre receiver is plug that wire into the speaker "out" jack on the back of your subwoofer and into the subwoofer "in" jack on the back of your home theatre receiver.

    • 3

Play with the phase and crossover settings on your subwoofer. These two knobs allow you to dial in as much bass as you want coming out of the subwoofer and allow you to distribute bass to the other speakers in the room.

    • 4

Watch your favorite movie and adjust the settings to meet your specific tastes.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you place the subwoofer in the corner of the room make sure that you stagger it. If the sub is no staggered between the walls in the corner, it will start to give off too much bass, which will inhibit your movie watching experience.

  • Dial in the phase and crossover on the receiver to suit your tastes. Once you know how much bass you want and where you want it to come from, it will be easier to adjust on a film by film basis.
