Step 1
Trick or treat! At inns around the world, innkeepers are giving away costumes, candy and magic wands! You can only trick or treat once an hour, but make sure to do so! Its fun, the candy restores 3% of your health and mana per second, and the costumes are great. The magic wands give party members costumes.
-
Step 2
Have wand battles! Its great seeing one of your party members suddenly turn into a skeleton, bat or a frog. Try it! Just be ready to get your own costume.! Don’t worry, you can ditch your costume by right-clicking the buff it gives.
-
Step 3
Help the orphans. There are children in Stormwind and Ogrimmar who would like to trick or treat, but can't because they are sick. You can visit them and pick up a quest to get some candy for them, in exchange for some special candy they have hidden away. This will take you to an inn at all of the major cities where innkeepers will ask you to do a simple trick in order to get the candy. It's really easy. Either click on the chat button on the left side, above the chat bar and simply choose the emote from the list, or type the emote in. For example, if you are asked to cluck like a chicken, type /chicken.
-
Step 4
Stop by the Wickerman. Outside the west wall of the Undercity, the undead are celebrating their release from the Scourge. Every night at 8 PM server time, as the undead burn a giant wicker man several stories high! Stop by, chat with the Guards and be sure to pick up some Wickerman Embers. They give a bonus to health and mana regeneration for 2 hours! For higher levels, Darkcaller Yanka will ask if you’d be interested in throwing some stinkbombs at the Alliance town of Southshore. If you’re up for it, it’s a great time.
-
Step 5
Stop by Southshore if you happen to be on a higher level. Sergeant Hartmann will ask you to try and clean up some of the stinkbombs the undead are throwing around, and if you’re feeling brave, he might even ask you and some friends to go crash the Wickerman party at the Undercity.
-
Step 6
Bob for apples. Every inn has a tub where you can stick your head in and grab some apples. Nutritious and free, but you can only keep 5 at a time.
-
Step 7
Have fun! Its all good, clean fun and the best part is, it comes around every year.! Check the World of Warcraft community site for a calendar of events. There’s lots of other stuff going on besides Hallow’s End.
