How to make French Toast Bread Pudding.

If you love regular bread pudding, you'll absolutely love this recipe for French Toast Bread Pudding!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12 ounces Challah Bread, torn into 3/4 inch pieces
  • 7 Large Eggs
  • 2 1/2 vanilla soy milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Warm maple Syrup
  • 11x7x2-inch glass baking dish
  • Foil wrap
  1. Step 1

    First, butter your glass baking dish.

  2. Step 2

    Place bread in dish.

  3. Step 3

    Whisk eggs and next four ingredients into bowl and blend, then pour over bread. Using spatula, lightly press down on the bread to moisten it all.

  4. Step 4

    Cover with foil and chill in fridge overnight.

  5. Step 5

    The next day, place your baking dish into a cold oven. Set the oven to 350 degrees and bake the pudding for 30 minutes.

  6. Step 6

    Remove the foil and continue to bake until the pudding is puffy and golden brown, thats about 35 more minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Finally, spoon out bread pudding for everyone and top with syrup... sometimes I put some ice cream on top.

  8. Step 8

    And last, but not least, ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Tips & Warnings
  • always make sure you make one night ahead of time or else it doesn't soak up the milk and taste as good.
  • top with ice cream or frozen yogurt makes it even better.
