Be irritating. Annoy people with rude behavior such as burping, telling jokes or dancing in front of people who are trying to fight.
Step2
Crash the party. If your guild throws a party, show up and start discussing politics, funeral processions or anything that rubs people the wrong way.
Step3
Ruin the dungeon with irresponsible behavior. Show up late to a guild-led dungeon run. Don’t bring the necessary supplies (healing and mana potions, arrows, shot) and be sure to beg for them as often as possible. Continually step away from your keyboard. Whine for resurrections and steal all the resources (minerals, veins, herbs) from the other gatherers.
Step4
Roll “Need” on all items because this really annoys people.
Step5
Balk at authority. Showing general disdain for guild officers and representatives is a surefire way to let them know that you wish to leave.
Step6
Steal from the guild bank. If your guild has a bank, constantly request items from it. If you happen to be in the position of being in charge of the guild bank, feel free to help yourself.
Step7
Spam the forums. If your guild has a forum, spam it with annoying posts that are either very off-topic or totally out of character.
Step8
Use the guild chat as a general chat. Nothing boils blood faster than someome using guild chat--especially if guild chat is reserved for in-character chatter only--for something other than its intended purpose.
Step9
Say goodbye. Type /gquit when you are ready to say adios.
Tips & Warnings
This is intended for entertainment purposes only and should not be used as an actual guide to leaving a guild. Be forewarned that performing any of these activities is a quick way to make lots of enemies and will ruin the experience of World of Warcraft for countless others. Please be considerate of other players.
