Are you mechanically inclined, short on cash, yet have an old car or truck rusting in your front yard. Well here is a tip for installing one of those "new fangled" waste disposal units.
Get one of those fancy drill bit attachments for your electric drill that cuts a 4 inch diameter circular hole. Attach it to your drill and drill out your existing sink plug hole.
Step2
Mount the truck gear box vertically under the hole, and seal with plumbers putty. Make sure the gear lever is accessable from the front.
Step3
Rig the transmission up to the engine outside by way of a long bicycle chain.
Step4
Start her up.
Step5
Now you will have something one better than the neighbors waste disposal. Not only will it cope with vegetables, but you will be able to break down tin cans as well. Not only that, it is variable speed. For those really touch jobs, put it into a lower gear.
Step6
Finaly, one feature that this unit has over those models you can get at Lowes or Sears; if you accidentally drop a kinfe down the drain, just chuck the unit into reverse, and it will spit the thing right back out at you!!!
