Instructions

Searching for Web Packs and Web Sites Within Webaroo

  1. Step 1

Click the Search icon within Webaroo. The Search icon lets you search Web Packs or Web sites that you have added to your "My Library" account on Webaroo. You can download web packs or web sites to your computer or mobile device using the Internet and then later you can search those Web sites or Web pages anytime or anywhere without being connected to the Internet.
To sort and then search you can click the Show button in the Content page and choose either Show All, or Show Only Web packs, or Show Only Web Sites and then Search using the Search icon within Webaroo.

  2. Step 2

The application brings up a Search Web Page that has the following tabs:
    Web Pack
    Web Site

Choosing the Web Packs tab will list all the Web packs that you have already downloaded into your Webaroo Library.
Choosing the Web Sites tab will list all the Web sites that you have already downloaded into your Webaroo Library.

  3. Step 3

To search for a word (or words), type the words in the Search field and click on the Go button next to it. It will bring up a list of Web packs or Web sites that are in your Webaroo library having those words.

If this is the first time you are using Webaroo and have not added any Web packs or Web sites, then clicking on Search will give you a warning message saying: "No Web Packs available currently. Go the the Content Page and add a Web Pack. If you already have a Web Pack, please wait for the download to complete."

In addition the the "General" tab (that has the Automatic and Manual Update buttons), the Preferences icon of Webaroo has the following three tabs, too:

    Proxy Server Settings

    Import BookMarks

Use the above tabs if you need to change the Proxy Server Settings, or want to change the location where your Web packs and Web sites are stored under the Webaroo folder of your computer, or if you want to import bookmarks while browsing.
