Curly hair can be difficult to keep neat and tidy unless you follow the example of Vince Vaughn’s hairstyle. This hair cut is neat in appearance but still manages to let the curl shine through.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Wear this hairstyle if you have naturally curly or wavy hair. It can be fine or thick in texture.

  2. Step 2

Key to keeping Vince Vaughn’s hairstyle tidy is the short and tapered sides and back. Chances are you’ll want your stylist to use the clippers on the sides and back, leaving the hair approximately a half to three quarters of an inch in length.

  3. Step 3

Cut the top to one and one half to two inches in length, or just enough for the curl to be visible but not unruly.

  4. Step 4

Keep the sides as short as possible as high as possible when blending with the top if your hair tends to “pouf” on the sides. Keeping the hair too long when blending at the temple area can cause the hair to look too round.

  5. Step 5

Style your hair like Vince Vaughn’s hairstyle by using a curl enhancing spray on damp hair to get the most curl out of wavy hair. Blow dry the hair on a low setting and scrunch the hair with your hands while drying.

  6. Step 6

Use a light hold gel or styling pomade on damp hair or very curly hair and let your hair air dry to avoid frizz. Check out the resource section for a picture of Vince Vaughn’s hairstyle.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you live in a high humidity area and are worried about your curls becoming a frizzy disaster, try spraying your hair with a humidity proof hairspray before heading out.

on 9/29/2009 Hmm, I'm not sure this is the right look for me, but I'll keep it mind next time my husband makes me cut his hair ;)
