How to make excellent, chewy chocolate chip cookies.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 chopped up chocolate covered peanut butter cups
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Mix together the flour, baking soda and salt, then set them aside.

  3. Step 3

    In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar and butter.

  4. Step 4

    Stir in the peanut butter, egg and vanilla. .

  5. Step 5

    Add the dry ingredients and stir them together. be sure to mix them well.

  6. Step 6

    Then fold in the chocolate chips and chopped peanut butter cups.

  7. Step 7

    Shape into 2 inch balls and place on unprepared cookie sheets 3 inches apart.

  8. Step 8

    Bake for about 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Remember that the time can vary depending on elevation and your oven.

  9. Step 9

    Remove from baking sheets to cool.
