Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Make every minute count, multi-tasking is your new forte.
Step2
To save time at home organize the kids, housework and meals. Checkout my related articles that provide recommendations how to manage home and family, including how to plan 5 meals for the entire week.
Step3
While at work, work. Don’t visit, take numerous breaks, and long lunch hours. Your employer is paying you to perform your job responsibilities, not to socialize. You’ll see how productive you’ll become and others will recognize it too!
Step4
Remember to take time and enjoy your family. Plan a vacation, get away for the weekend, or just play games at home. After all that’s why you’re working so hard to keep things together.
Step5
Don’t stress the little stuff. If you ran out of orange juice for breakfast because you didn’t make it to the grocery store but you have Gatorade, serve it. The kids won’t mind!
Step6
At the end of the day and the kids are in bed, take time for you! You can’t do any of the above if you’re too tired to move.
