Step 1
If you are having your underarms done, you need to discontinue using deodorant for 3 days prior to your appointment.
-
Step 2
The day of your appointment, take a pain reliever like IB Profen or Tylenol to reduce the pain associated with the treatment.
-
Step 3
Make sure you shave the entire area that will be treated.
-
Step 4
Avoid tanning the area 2 weeks before the treatment.

on 7/29/2009 Good advice. I had thought about doing my legs but I don't know. I am not a fan of pain :)

on 7/29/2009 Laser hair removal is great and really works although you will need a few sessions. They tell you to shave before coming in but I had better results when I shaved 24 hours before coming in. The laser is attracted to the black dot of your hair so if you are shaved too close you don't have as good as a result, at least that was my experience. And yes it does hurt a bit but oh so worth it. Gets rid of ingrown hairs in the future where you were lasered too.
