Step 1
Find an unlimited supply of silver keys. Start a quest you know is near a silver key (the easiest one is the trader escort in Lookout Point, with the silver key down a small vine-hidden path near the crossroads). Once the quest has begun, go grab the key, then perform a Hero save. This will save your item data, but will put you back at the beginning of the quest you started. Load your saved game and when you get back, the key will be there and you can take it again and again! This can be used to get huge numbers of just about anything!

Step 2
Cheat at pub games. The pub games in Twinblade’s Camp and Gnothole Glade allow you to use your Slow Time spell just before entering the game. The spell will continue until you leave the game, allowing you plenty of time to either memorize the figures or sort the cards (depending on which game you are playing). Make sure you cast a good distance away from anyone or they will take it as a threat.

Step 3
Eat! It does a lot more than just heal you! Red meat gives you a small amount of strength experience, Fish gives you will experience and carrots give you skill experience. When you have a very high combat multiplier, these foods can be used to give you considerably higher experience than you’d normally get!

Step 4
Open up new houses. If there is an occupied house you’d like to own, get the residents to follow you out of town. Then tell them to wait and head back to their house. It should be up for sale! Just make sure you do this with plenty of extra cash, and be aware that it doesn’t work in Hook Coast.

Step 5
Money money money! Buy the house in either Oakvale or Gnothole Glade, then decorate it as much as possible. Put your most expensive trophies on the walls, then sell the house. Break down the door, grab your trophies and buy the house again. You’ll have made a tidy profit! Repeat as desired.

Step 6
Get easy items. You’ll find that if you treat your spouse well, she’ll give you gifts. This is particularly true if you visit her right after you complete a quest. If you don’t need this gear, sell it! If you are not offended by polygamy, you can have multiple spouses in different towns giving you rewards for quests. Be aware though that if they find out you’re already married, they won’t be so friendly.

Step 7
Give gifts, but don’t bother with expensive gifts like perfume or jewels. Roses and chocolates work just fine for seducing anyone except Lady Grey.

Step 8
While dowries may be illegal in today’s society, the people in Fable have no qualms about giving your hero a gift of money if he marries someone’s daughter. Though it takes some work, the mayor of Bowerstone, Lady Grey, gives the largest dowry in the game. A word of warning: she is not all she appears to be.
