How to empty the water out of your diving mask under water
When your dive mask fills with water you want to quickly empty it out as water will cause problems with your nose and your eyes and it can be unpleasent in the long run under water
Things You'll Need
- Dive mask
- BCD (Buoyancy Control Device)
- Regulator with an octopus (alternate second stage)
- Tank
- Fins
- Diving suit
Instructions

Stop swimming and make sure you are in a vertial postion.

Take a deep breath so you have enough air to push through your nose.

Tilt your head backwards and at the same time with both hands push the bottom of you mask out a little to to create a small area between your face and the rubber of the mask.

Now push the air through your nose so it will force the water out of you mask and push the bottom of your mask back to your face to once again to create a water tight seal.

Tips & Warnings
Practise this exercise several times in a pool before going out in open water.
