Love flowers but hate the weeds? Here's how to prevent them from being a problem in your garden.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • gardening tools
  • plants
  • newspaper
  1. Step 1

Work nutrients into your soil as needed.

  2. Step 2

    Set in your bedding plants.

  3. Step 3

Wet your newspapers and place them around your plantings overlapping them as you go.

  4. Step 4

Cover them with soil or mulch and forget about the weeds. Weeds will grow through gardening plastic, but they will not grow through the wet newspapers.
