How to change your password on Yahoo!

If you have an account with Yahoo! and would like to change your password these simple step will walk you through the process. Changing your password frequently will provide greater protection for your private information.

Things You'll Need:

• Yahoo! Account
• Internet access

1. Go to yahoo.com and sign into your account.

2. Click the Account Info or My Account link at the top of the page.

3. Click on Change Password.

4. Type your current password in the first box.

5. Type your new password in the second box.

6. Confirm you new password.

7. Click Save to coomplete the change.

Tips & Warnings

• Choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but that would not be obvious to others.
• Always make sure you are on an official yahoo.com page before making this type of change.

on 9/21/2008 I have worked for two hours attempting to get a new password because the computer did not remember the password I had typed in and properly checked. What I get was the message that it couldn't be changed on line. This is absurd to say the least
