How to study in the US for indonesian

This is just an introductory outline on the process of studying in the US for indonesian/foreign students

1. Choose your major, do couple of research on universities that specialize on your intended major.
2. Take a TOEFL test, visit the university web address and fill in the application. Make sure you have your copies of EBTANAS, STTB and financial statement ready.
3. Once you're admitted, and got your I-20, visit your local US embassy and apply for a visa
4. Once you have got your visa and other paperworks ready, it is time for you to find a place to stay. Dormitories are good place for starters or if you have friends, you might want to contact them for possible renting purposes
