A smoothie is a quick and nutritious way to start your morning, or a nice pick-up in the afternoon.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blender
  • 1 cup milk or soymilk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mixed berries)
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed meal (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Combine ingredients in a blender.

  2. Step 2

    Puree until smooth.

  3. Step 3

    Enjoy!

on 10/13/2008 The great thing about smoothies you make yourself is you control the portions of each item added, you can experiment with different recipes, and they make a great on the go breakfast!
