1. First, you need to check for your organization name, make sure yours still available and doesn't infringe any trademarks. Every state have different website where you can check those, for washington it will be: http://secstate.wa.gov/
2. Register your LLC name, it needs to end with LLC or L.L.C at the end of your company's name. Such as: Violato, LLC
3. Then you need to create a Master Business Application (MBA) from the DOL website (http://dol.wa.gov). The registration fee is only $15, and for every trademark name you want to register is additional $5
4. If you want, then you get the Federal EIN (Employee Identification Number). Therefore, you don't have to use your SSN when you fill out any application requiring your business information
5. If you pay for the express processing, you should get your LLC certificate within 2 days.
