Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yourself and a hungry tummy
  1. Step 1

When you arrive at a German restaurant, you do not have to wait to be seated. But usually a waiter or waitress will take you to your table. Do not expect to see any waitresses in a beer garden - sit at the first table you find.

  2. Step 2

In a restaurant, your waiter will bring your menu (Speisekarte). Choose what you want and try to order it in German.

  3. Step 3

In a beer garden, you will need to go to the counter and order your own food and most importantly beer. You can also bring your own food to a beer garden.

  4. Step 4

You will not find the English translations in your Speisekarte. Ask your waiter. He / She will be more then happy to help you.

  5. Step 5

    You can order
    Vorspeisen (appetizers)
    Suppe (Soup)
