How to block Popups in Windows XP

Popup windows that is used for advertising can be very annoying. This is a quick way of blocking popups.

Things You'll Need:

• Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)

1. Start your Internet Explorer

2. 

   Go to the Tools Menu, Pop-up Blocker and click on Turn On Pop-Up Blocker. Now Pop-Up Blocker is enabled.

3. If you want to enable Pop-Ups from certain Web Sites then you need to add these to your Pop-Up Enabled Sites list.

4. 

   Select Tools, Pop-Up Blocker, Pop-Up Blocker Settings in your Internet Explorer.
