How to block Popups in Windows XP

Popup windows that is used for advertising can be very annoying. This is a quick way of blocking popups.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)
  1. Step 1

    Start your Internet Explorer

  2. Step 2

    Go to the Tools Menu, Pop-up Blocker and click on Turn On Pop-Up Blocker. Now Pop-Up Blocker is enabled.

  3. Step 3

    If you want to enable Pop-Ups from certain Web Sites then you need to add these to your Pop-Up Enabled Sites list.

  4. Step 4

    Select Tools, Pop-Up Blocker, Pop-Up Blocker Settings in your Internet Explorer.
