Things You’ll Need:
- Okra(Lady Fingers) 3/4 pound
- Onions 1/3 large
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Chili Powder (Red Chili Powder) 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric (Haldi powder) 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 5 tablespoons
- Cumin Seeds (Cumin, Jeera) 1/4 teaspoon
Step1
Crush garlic cloves and finely chop onion.
Step2
Chop okra into 1/4 inch pieces.
Step3
Heat oil in a non-stick skillet, add finely chopped onion and fry until light brown.
Step4
Then add garlic and fry for a minute. Now add chopped okra and sliced green chili. Fry on high heat for five minutes and then add salt and turmeric.
Step5
Lower heat to medium-low, then sprinkle red chili powder and remove from heat.
