How to Setup Your Computer With Dual Monitors
Need more screen real estate? Attach a second monitor to your computer to make your computer usage more efficient.

Take a look at the back of your PC and see if there are two video outputs. One will probably be analog (blue 15-pins) and the other will be DVI (wider and more pins).

Turn off your computer. Plug a LCD monitor into the DVI port and an analog monitor into the 15-pin analog port.

Turn on your computer running Windows. Right-click an empty area of the desktop and select "Screen Resolution" from the pop-up menu. The "Change the appearance of your display" dialog appears. Click the drop-down list next to Multiple Displays. Then click "Extend these displays." Click "OK."
